actually no. Curiosity’s camera is only 264x264 and greyscale. THIS was the first picture:
I know that one is only 64x64 but it sends smaller thumbnails first and the high-res images come later.
this is probably a picture of a desert on earth, or a movie frame or something.
Actually this IS a photo of Mars, back in 2005…
okay, yeah this is from Spirit. should have looked for that before, sorry. but it is DEFINITELY not from Curiosity.
